HISTORY OF MAHALLAH ASMA’
Mahallah Asma’ was established since 1996. Mahallah Asma’ Office consist of 4 staff i.e. one (1) Principal and few fellows, one (1) Assistant Hostel Manager, and two (2) Administrative Assistants. Since then, we at Mahallah Asma’ strives hard to provide the best quality services for the residents. Mahallah Asma’ has 7 blocks which can accommodate approximately 856 students i.e. 40 UG and PG students. Apart accommodation, we also provide other range of services including café, convenient shop, laundry, wireless internet, and sports equipments.
MAHALLAH ASMA’ REPRESENTATIVE COMMITTEE
Mahallah Representative Committee (MRC) is the highest student organization at the Mahallah level. The committee members of the MRC are selected from among the residents of the respective Mahallah. Every Mahallah Representative Committees are accountable to plan and organize Mahallah activities and programmes for the residents.
Each Mahallah will appoint respective members for the MRC which consist of the mainboard of the organization; President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, and several committee members which representing bureau Da’wah & Tarbiah, Sport & Recreation, Welfare, Media & Publication, Entrepreneurship, Arts & Culture, Community Service, and Education & Training bureau.
To become part of the committee members, a good leadership and soft skills is important to skillfully manage the Mahallah’s system. Any prior experience could be a big help for the organization to run smoothly in the future. Mahallah’s programmes would be more fun and interestingwith creative and novel ideas from the new MARC members. We’re proudly announcing that we are now recruiting the new members of MARC 2021/2022.
