Achievements

A LITTLE PROGRESS EACH DAY ADDS UP A BIG RESULTS

Mahallah Asma’ is well-known as an active Mahallah that never miss a chance to participate in any competition or events.

  • Asma’ fundraising is the most outstanding achievement, that successfully reached more than half of thousand Malaysia Ringgit in a month. It was an excellent programme organized by bureau Entrepreneurship with the help of MRC and BRC during IIUM Sports Carnival. Massive supports were received from IIUM community along the process of fundraising. Not to forget, Mahallah Asma’s residents were also very supportive and helpful.
  • On early July 2020, Mahallah Asma’ took an opportunity to participate in a programme organized by University Putra Malaysia (UPM) that is open to public. The ‘Tandas Bersih’ challenge was an amazing experience for Mahallah Asma’ to uncover the talent and uniqueness of Mahallah Asma’ in competing with several other great competitors.
  • Road to Financial Freedom programme reached more than the targeted number of participants. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the plan to have Road to Finacial Freedom 2.0 on the request of many, unfortunately had to be cancelled.
  • Mahallah Asma’ were given the title of ‘The most polite MRC’ during the McLead programme though it is an adventurous camping with many challenges in building leadership, teamwork , explorace and outdoor activities. MRC of Mahallah Asma’ actively participate with others during the programme.
  • Champion of Traditional Game: ‘Batu Seremban’ during IIUM Indigenous Festival. It was particpated by residents of Mahallah Asma’ and competed with other Mahallahs.
  • Mental Health Corner during Mental health month and we got 4th place.
  • Sejahtera Toilet Hygiene Competition during the the World Toilet Day that is celebrated on 19th November every year around the world to raise awareness of the importance of clean toilet sanitation in human life as well as to make the public aware of clean toilet culture.
  • IIUM CMCO E-Sports Competition that was a competition among 17 Mahallah in IIUM with different types of online games such as PUBG, Chess, COD, and ML.
  • Inter-Mahallah Cultural Week 2021 was an online competition among all masala in IIUM. This competition was divided into 7 categories, i.e. tarannum, pantun, fashion show, traditional song, nasyid, drama, and poetry recitation. Mahallah Asma’ took place in all categories except traditional song and painting. Among all the categories that Asma’ took place, we managed to get 3rd place in fashion show who was being participated in one of Asma’s residents, Sr, Aisyah Humaira.
  • Sembang-Sembang Bahasa Melayu bersama Cikgu Zahriman dan Puan Rachel was an online programme that we manage to invite one of the popular youtuber called Kumaar Family.
