NUSAI INTRO: WELCOMING NEW STUDENTS

Mahallah Representative Committees (MRC) organised a 3 days event to welcome all new students that reside in Mahallah Nusaibah. Participants were introduced to the Principal, Fellows, Mahallah Officers and MRC members. Apart from that, they were also briefed on the safety, rules and regulations in Mahallah. This event ended with a fitplay session to encourage the residents to have a healthy lifestyle.

HAIRCARE TALK: BECOMING YOUR OWN HAIR EXPERT

Residents of Mahallah Nusaibah get to learn how to take care of their own hair, how to choose safe hair care and how to use hair care products correctly. This program was led by Dr Deena Khairiah who has a medical background in Medicine and Surgery as well as Medical Aesthetic Certification.

IHYA RAMADHAN: TARAWIH CONGRETIONAL PRAYER

This event was a collaboration between Mahallah Nusaibah and Mahallah Sumayyah Representative Committees. It aims to inculcate the spirit of ibadah during the month of Ramadhan and strengthen the ukhuwah between the two Mahallah residents.

DONUT DAY NUSAIBAH 2.0

In light of the encouraging response from the participants for the 1st Donut Day Nusaibah event, the 2021/2022 MRC tenure decided to bring back this event to the residents of Mahallah Nusaibah on a larger scale. It aims to tighten the ukhuwah between the residents.

LEARNING THE ETERNAL LANGUAGE

Participants were taught how to recite Al-Quran with proper pronunciation and tajweed as well as other knowledge related to Al-Quran.

NUSAIBEES APPRECIATION NIGHT

This event was organized by MRC to celebrate and appreciate the efforts of the people who have worked hard and are involved in the success of past programs that have been organised.

CANVA WORKSHOP & COMPETITION: STEP UP YOUR GAME ENTREPRENEURS!

This program was organised specially for students that run their own businesses. During the workshop, participants were taught tips and tricks for using canva as a poster design platform that could be helpful for their business journey. It was then followed by a poster competition to test participants’ understanding of what they obtained from the workshop.

ZUMBA 3.0

Zumba 3.0 is a sport program which had been organized by MRC Mahallah Nusaibah where residents of Mahallah Nusaibah participated in Zumba exercise through online to encourage the students stay fit and healthy during this pandemic.

WINGS OF AMITY

Wings of Amity is a program hosted by MRC Mahallah Ali, MRC Mahallah Nusaibah & Sekretariat Rukun Negara (SRN) from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in collaboration with Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA) and Universitas Muhammadiah Yogyakarta.

It aims to initiate the process of grooming IIUM students as global readers, uplift the Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics at an international level, inculcate Integration, Islamization, Internationalization & Comprehensive Excellence in students to prepare them to go globally and have sustained networking with the international institutions.
