NOTE: Inclusive of E-Certificate and Lanyard. Starpoints will be given to all Undergraduate students who participated in this event.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The Organizer will not be responsible for any damage or loss to participants’ during the run for this event.
  2. The Organisers may at their discretion refuse any entry, cancel or postpone the event without due notice in the event of any unforeseen circumstances. No claims of any kind arising from abandonment, cancellation or postponement of the event shall be entertained.
  3. The Organisers reserves the right to publish and display the names, their photographs and audio and/or visual recording for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation and prior notification to the participants of Utopia Virtual Run.
  4. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the event race routes as the Organiser deems fit for the safety of the Participants and/or to prevent any potential hazards in the running of the event, at any time without prior notice to the participants. In such cases, every effort will be made to inform the participants prior to the date of the Event. The Organiser shall not be held liable for any loss or inconvenience caused due to such changes.
  5. The Organizer reserves the right to remove any participant deemed physically incapable of continuing with the race to prevent him/her from causing greater harm and injury to himself/herself.
  6. The Organizer reserves the right, to modify, supplement or waive all or part of the event rules. 
  7. The Organizer reserve the right to close entries before the deadline without any prior notice or when the quota of a race is full.
  8. The organization, content, design, graphics, and other materials related to this site are protected under applicable copyrights and other proprietary laws, including but not limited to intellectual property laws. Without our prior written permission, the copying, reproduction, use, modification or publication of full or part of any such matters or any part of the Site by you is strictly prohibited. 
  9. All participants are to ensure that information submitted in the registration form is complete and accurate, otherwise, the participant’s registration will be suspended or terminated. 
  10. All successful entries are NON-TRANSFERABLE, NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON DEFERRABLE.
  11. The confirmation of participation is ONLY VALID once the payment on the registration fees is confirmed. 
  12. Participants below 18 years of age are not permitted to join or participate in this event.  
  13. All entries are based on a first-come-first-serve basis unless otherwise stated. 
  14. All the participants in the event take on his/her own responsibility and bear full responsibility as to his/her fitness condition and ability to participate.
  15. Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by The Organizer to ensure participants’ safety, participants partake in this event at their own risks and The Organizer, its sponsors and its appointed officials shall not be liable for any death or injury, loss or damage, suffered or otherwise and howsoever arising. 
  16. All registrations have to be done before or by the deadline. Any registration on the spot will still be entertained but subject to availability. 
  17. All the participants were entitled for an e-certificate and lanyard with the condition they must complete the 5km Virtual Run. 
  18. The run is open to all IIUM undergradates students and staff, in Kuantan, Gambang and Pagoh Campus. UG student will receives star points for your participation in this event.
  19. All ideas, notes, suggestions, concepts and other information send by you to us (collectively, “Submissions”) shall be deemed and shall remain our sole property and shall not be subject to any obligation of confidence on our part. Without limiting the foregoing, we shall be deemed to own all known and hereafter existing rights of every kind and nature regarding the Submissions and shall be entitled to unrestricted use of the Submissions for any purpose, without compensation to the provider of the Submissions.
  20. Completion of the registration form is an indication of the participant’s agreement to abide by the rules and regulations of the Utopia Virtual Run 2020. Violation of any of the rules indicated herein may result in disqualification of any runner, team, and/or entire company for this and/or future events. 

RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1. No pets or any form of wheel-run objects of transport e.g. inline skates, prams, push cars, shoes with built-in or attached rollers are allowed on the course other than official  race and medical vehicles.
  2. It is compulsory for the participants to practice physical distances at all times during the Virtual Run.
  3. Failure to comply will result in the participants’ disqualification from the race.
  4. There is no specific path for the event, participant can choose any path that is convenience and safe for them.
  5. Participants hereby release, waive, discharge, and relinquish any action or causes of action for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death which may occur during the event(s) or any pursuit incidental thereto. Participants further agree that under no circumstances will they prosecute or present any claim against the Event Organiser, or any member, legal entity or person associated with the Event Organiser (together, the “Event Organiser’s vendors”) for any causes of action, personal injury, property damage, or death, whether the same shall arise by the negligence or non-intentional conduct of any of the Event Organiser during the event(s) or any pursuit incidental thereto.
  6. Participants are informed to throw the rubbish into the dustbin. Anyone violating this rule of conduct shall be disqualified from the event and will be asked to leave the course. Do you love casinos? Try the best and this is Bp77 Casino
